Refuge Bay is currently Alberta’s only 4-season glamping destination, with hundreds of acres of land to explore. Take in all that nature has to offer in this unique getaway, without the need for your own camping gear or busy campgrounds.
Escape and unplug while you explore the gorgeous Parkland landscape & private lake. The area has plenty of wildlife to keep you entertained, so bring your camera or binoculars. Also, bring your non-motorized personal watercraft to enjoy the lake!

Simply Glamping
Simply Glamping offers domes and tents set in 160 acres of forests and meadow, surrounded by over 200 additional acres of protected forest.
They are off-grid and eco friendly with solar lighting, foot pump sinks, private covered and stocked outdoor kitchens, BBQ’s with a side burners, private firepits, hammocks and more.
The groomed forest and meadow walking/biking trails offer seating in quiet places and two reflection ponds. There’s a unique, adult friendly playground, a huge sand pit, and fun surprises throughout!

Kacikewin RV Campground and Cabins
The name “Kacikewin” (pronounced KA TSEEK A WIN) is the Cree word for hideaway.
We offer quiet family camping. Enjoy the natural sandy beach, horseshoe pits, beach volleyball or just relax on the porch with an ice cream. One large fully furnished family cabin is available to rent nightly (May, June and September) and weekly through July and August. We also have 2 – Two bedroom lakefront cabins completely self contained.
