Klondyke Ferry Campground
Klondyke Ferry Campground offers 13 non-serviced camping sites, a water well and group area. Self-registration, first-come-first-serve, outdoor privies, many hiking and bicycling trails, and a sheltered cooking site.
The campground is adjacent to the Klondyke Ferry crossing on the scenic and historic Athabasca River, leading into the Fort Assiniboine Sandhills Provincial Park. The boat launch is a popular location for jet boaters to access the Athabasca River for fishing and other river excursions.
The Klondyke Ferry is one of the last remaining ferries operating in Alberta.

Imrie Park
Imrie Park is a wonderful place for exploring nature. There are forests, marshes and hiking trails. The star attraction at the park is an amazing wildlife blind on the shore of Devil’s Lake where waterfowl and birds of prey can be observed. Deer are often seen in the area as well. The lake itself is popular for fishing and watersports.
There’s a campground on site with 18 camping spots, many of which back onto the forest. A cookhouse, playground, enclosed picnic shelter, and a day use area are also available on the site. Group camping is permitted (with reservations), which includes exclusive use of the cookhouse. Dogs are permitted but must be leashed.
Imrie Park is a year round attraction, featuring cross country ski trails and snowmobiling in the winter.
The park is located a short drive from Edmonton, St. Albert, Spruce Grove and Stony Plain. It’s about 8 kilomotres east of Onoway on the shores of Devil’s Lake, just off highway 37.
Imrie Park is a local treasure for day trips and longer stays. The land for the park was donated to the people of Alberta in honour of Marie Louise Imrie for conservation and public enjoyment. It was donated through the Recreation, Parks and Wildlife Foundation Park Ventures Fund.

Blue Ridge Recreation Area
The Blue Ridge Recreation Area has it all for nature lovers!
The trail system is perfect for walking or cycling. There is a quaint beach and designated swimming area perfect for cooling off in the summer heat. And picnic tables and portable restrooms are on site to enhance your day trip.
The south lake is stocked with trout and is managed as a quality stocked trout fishery.
In the winter, the Blue Ridge Recreation Area is ideal for snowshoeing and cross country skiing.
The 3 km of trails provide the perfect path for you to release your energy no matter the season.

Trapper Lea’s Cabin
This campground is located in Trapper Lea's Cabin Provincial Recreation Area, 30 km south of Swan Hills on Hwy. 33. There are about 20 sites suitable for both RVs and tents. There are OHV trails nearby, which registered campers can access from their campsites.

Salters Lake
This is a great lake for fishing, canoeing and kayaking. Volunteers at the Onoway Fish & Game Association maintain the lake and south shore of Salters, stocking rainbow trout for this local fishing hole. The association also provides a picnic area, a floating dock, and on-going aeration for the health of the fish.
Salters Lake is located close to Edmonton, about 1 km south of Onoway.

A great place to spend the day fishing. Schuman Lake is very clean, calm and is stocked annually with Rainbow Trout.

An 18-hole championship golf course and RV park like no other. They offer the challenge of a traditional style front nine with tighter fairways and smaller greens.
